Date: 2019-05-26 12:29:07 UTC All our circuits are back online.
Date: 2019-05-26 12:26:38 UTC Current Update: Crews are hands off. We are waiting on PSEG to get back to site to pull down NJ-B40.
Date: 2019-05-26 10:28:13 UTC Current Update: Crews are still hanging the NJ-2 Splice enclosure back up into telecom space.
Date: 2019-05-26 06:10:31 UTC Update from our provider:
Current Update: We have a slight correction of information. One side of the NJ-2 is completely pulled and spliced. Crews are now starting to prep the other side which will take a few hours. Once our crew finishes prep work and begins splicing we should see services start to restore. The projection is that if all goes well we should be totally spliced up on the NJ-2 in 6-7 hours. On the NJ-B40 cable also involved in this issue, our crews have the cable pulled. Unfortunately the power company did not pull the cable down from power row before they left site. We are trying to get the reengaged on this holiday weekend to get this process working now. Will keep you updated.
Date: 2019-05-26 01:35:47 UTC Update from our provider:
Current Update: We still have at minimum 6 hours out as the power company is still on the site working on getting their customers rerouted and restored. Our OSP is standing by, waiting to start working on our cable.
Date: 2019-05-25 19:31:58 UTC Update from our provider:
Current Update: We have been informed by the power company that it will take between 8 to 10 hours till we will be able to begin work on restoring services. They need to replace the power and a transformer first and restore their lines before we can begin.
Date: 2019-05-25 19:13:38 UTC Update from our provider:
Current Update: We have located our cables on fire due to a transformer on Rte 3 in Clifton NJ. This is affecting two 432 cables at that location. Our fiber repair crews are working on getting to the location with new cable. Unfortunately we will not be able to access the area until we get the all clear from both the fire department and the power company. We have reached out to the power company and keeping in touch with them to get updates on their repairs.
