La fibre est réparée, les 10x10g sont de nouveaux UP, le trafic s'écoule normalement.
La coupure a été provoquée par des travaux de voirie a 80km au sud d'Orlando, FL.

Event Conclusion Summary

Outage Start: December 12, 2015 17:45 GMT
Outage Stop: December 13, 2015 09:02 GMT

Root Cause: A fiber cut between Kenansville, FL and Orlando, FL in conjunction with a fiber issue impacted unprotected transport services.

Fix Action: Field Services spliced the fiber and corrected the fiber issue at the site.

Reason for Outage (RFO) Summary: The Transport NOC reported that a fiber cut between Kenansville, FL and Orlando, FL impacted unprotected transport services. The NOC engaged Field Services and teams dispatched to test from both Orlando and Kenansville. The NOC advised that Field Services have reached the test point in Orlando, to being testing from that end. The NOC advised that the fiber cut was approximately 50 miles towards Kenansville, from Orlando. Field Services began traversing the span to pin-point the cut. The NOC reported that Field Services identified the fiber cut site. A local contractor installing guardrails apparently damaged the fiber. The NOC has advised that Field Services located the fiber damage and splice teams were at the north and south hand holes, prepping cable. Field Services began searching for a good duct to pull cable through. The NOC advised that a good conduit was located and fiber was pulled. The NOC advised that splice work had. Field Services completed splicing but some alarms still remained. Field Services dispatched to the Kenansville site to investigate the issue further. Field Services arrived at the site and isolated the fault to a cabling issue. Field Services corrected the issue and all alarms have cleared. The Technical Service Center confirmed service restoral with the customers.

The NOC has advised that Field Services located the fiber damage and splice teams are at the north and south hand holes, prepping cable. At present time, Field Services is searching for a good duct to pull cable through. If one cannot be found then a temporary solution with 1500 feet of fiber between the two splice points may be deployed. There is no ETR to provide at this time.

The NOC reports that Field Services has identified the fiber cut site. A local contractor installing guardrails has apparently damaged the fiber but the precise cut point, at the construction site, is still to be located. The exact location of the fiber cut is expected to be found shortly. In anticipation of locating the precise fiber cut point, fiber splice and repair crews have been engaged and dispatched with an ETA of 00:00 GMT.
